No big photographic outings lately. Life has been hectic. Here's a few from a trip to Ottawa for my nephew's 10th birthday. Not sure if they were happier to see me or the new PlayStation.
Long time, no see, everyone...been a while since I posted in this thread, as I left for the red ringed pastures of Canon a couple years ago. Tonight I was looking through some older photos I took in New York in 2015 and found three I hadn't processed before.
These are all with the A7 II. First with the FE 55/1.8, second and third with the FE 16-35mm f/4:
Here in the Pacific Northwest, it's been exceptionally cold of late. Here's a pre-dawn shot from a couple days ago as a new set of snow and freezing temps hit us near the coast. It's nothing compared to Helena's Scandinavian snow flurries, but still entertaining to have at the end of February.

I’d like to visit Moscow again with my Sony kit. Architecture is diverse, amazing and vastly different to what we see here in the USA. Just the sheer scale and mass of buildings is a magnitude greater. Last time I went was with a Canon 20D and a crappy 17-85 zoom lens. May that day come sooner than I expect…
Today we have a day with no snow, and just a little rain after I took these shots. 1-2-3-4-5, right outside our Canyon Court on 5th Street. Lovely low mid-morning lighting -- just how I like it!
