Thank you, Jim! They are big and quite menacing. The speed of that guy when it approached me was scarily fast. A ranger with a long forked staff was standing next to me while I was kneeling and taking sequential images. And that was enough to hesitate the dragon and then he turned sideways, allowing me to take some profile shots with his forked tongue sticking out. The lighting conditions in the forest were quite dim but the A7r V didn’t miss any beat; it kept the eyes in focus all the time.

Along Jordan Creek, near the Pedestrian Bridge and Ford, Trexler Nature Preserve, Schnecksville, PA.
This winter has been pretty miserable with mostly rain and only a few snowy days. Yesterday finally an interesting mix of snow and sun, so I went on a long local walk. As you can see when the subject is the same the sun and snow came and went within just a few minutes. Quite fun, but today it is raining again
