My first images of 2023…from the Rose Parade in Pasadena. The floats are less spectacular and virtually without animation now compared to those before the pandemic and there are less spectators, too, it seems.
Great shots! My oldest son Logan is in the parade, he's in the Penn State Blue Band.

They are playing against Utah at the Rose Bowl as we speak. I took pictures of quite a few marching bands but I am not sure that I took pictures of your son though . Having been to the Rose Parada many times, I became selective of late…
Nice shots at the museum, Tim. I have been there quite a few times, took a tour one time. It's about an hour drive in good traffic from where I live. Really impressive collection of air/space crafts. I stopped by the USAF Museum in Dayton Ohio 6 months ago, the number of planes is astonishing but I only had a few hours to spend.
Thanks Douglas, it really is a neat place. So much history in those hangars. It's over 2 hours for us, but we try to go once a year or so. Seeing the space shuttle up close and personal is such an experience.
