Along Jordan Creek, near the Pedestrian Bridge and Ford, Trexler Nature Preserve, Schnecksville, PA.
It's bitterly cold and windy here today so I am staying home to snap a few shots of our Christmas tree with the Gorlitz Trioplan 100mm f2.8 lens. They look like what I would see after a couple drinks too many.
I caught this little guy with the 200-600. It's crazy how hard it is to shoot little birds who are constantly moving, hidden behind leaves and twigs, and so small! Probably the most challenging and physically strenuous photography there is, especially with an RIII. I took 80 images and these three were the only ones to turn out.
Karmal, this is what it's all about! You should be proud of capturing this experience, particularly with such technical perfection. Having been on only 2 tourist style safari, I can only imagine the adrenaline that you must have overcome to steady the shots. Well done!
