Manikarnika Ghat at Benares.
If your religion is Hinduism all you want is to be burnt in this sacred place after you die.
It is truly sacred place with very strong energies. Under Shivaism Lord Shiva created the Universe here.

From memory, the CY 100/3.5. A few jeeps pulled up and out jumped a squad of PLA soldiers. They proceeded to clean up the sacred site here while the chief had a chat with me. It went well.

Haute couture -- actually I don't know if it's haute or bas or somewhere in the middle -- in Bukhara, Uzbekistan. I happened to fortuitously wander into this fashion show. Local dignitaries & those invited to the event sat on proper chairs along the runway, but despite being a scruffy, clueless tourist who does not speak any of the languages spoken there (Uzbek, Tajik & Russian), I got invited to shoot from a platform set up for the video, TV & press crew. Designers from Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan & Turkey presented their designs. All shot with the A7R IV & Tamron 70-180mm at f2.8, some at 400 ISO and others at 800.
