One of the famous far-away windsurfing spots in CapeTown with the name of obvious origin - MISTY CLIFFS. It is considered as reserve for the specialists of the game only. The waves are very big, very fast and exit is rocks, rocks and more rocks.
I tried to windsurf there once and was the only one without number on the sail (number with country symbol - SA4 - member of National Squad). I was really lucky that all my equipment survived after one mistake... i call this spot "reserved for the sponsored athlets"))))
While the spot is raw meet, it is beautiful and spectacular place.

I was about to joke that your images are strangly similar (both are beatifull, but even something in the mood is the same) but extremely different re temperatures, but remembered how cold the ocean in Namibia is...))))
We had clear skies and cold weather between 5 and 6 am here in West Virginia for the 11/8/22 eclipse. I'm not an experienced astro shooter but I thought I would try shooting the eclipse with my A7RIV and Sony 100-400 GM, hoping to get some usable cropped images. For this image, the initial full frame image was first processed with DXO Deep Prime, then cropped about 60% and post processed in Lightroom, then exported as a downsized jpeg for uploading here. I could obviously have benefited from a longer and brighter lens, but I have what I have. It was a fun morning and a good learning experience. Made some notes to get better results in 2025. Steve

Nicely done, Steve! I shot the eclipse with my A1 and 600 f4+1.4 TC. The pictures look like shxt! It was very very windy, didn't get one sharp one with the wind and long exposure, of course, operator error too.
Oh, I didn't venture into your kind of ISO territory., hence the longer exposure time, which ruin the shots.

Thanks Douglas. Fortunately, the winds were lighter here in WV and I had a heavy tripod, a Wimberly gimbal, and the bluetooth remote shutter release (which I was pleased to find that it worked with my hands in my jacket pocket!). I was a little apprehensive about shooting at that high ISO, but I am constantly impressed by the results I get from DXO Deep Prime from those type of shots. Not having an astro tracker and being constrained by aperture and shutter speed, I just set ISO to auto and let 'er rip. As they say here, even a blind hog finds an acorn every once in awhile. Steve
Ronny - It may be an oldie, but it's also a goodie. I am amazed at the images you render with that fisheye. This one is very moody and resonates with today's mood here where I am in West Virginia. Cold and grey with flurries in town and snow on the mountaintops. But not as dramatic here as it is your shot. Thanks for posting it. Steve
A sunrise walk at Leather Tor on Dartmoor. The fogbound mast in image #1 is the North Hessary TV transmitter while #2 is Leather Tor and #3 Down Tor. Image #4 looks across to Burrator Reservoir which supplies Plymouth.
Looking out across the frosty morn at the trees in autumn color, homes, and Post Office beyond the retention ponds behind my home bathed in early morning golden sunlight.
Hand Held, relying on IBIS, A1 and Voigtlander 50mm f2 Apo-Lanthar Asph lens; silent shutter.

I don’t know anything about windsurfing but those excellent images you posted show that that would be a great spot for that sport. I would love to take pictures there with and without windsurfers.
Thank you for your kind comment on the image of the Sandwich Harbor. Granted it was not as cold as Lofoten in the winter and there is no snow there but indeed, Namibia is colder than I imagined before the trip.
