At Lock Ridge Park (the site of an old Iron Furnace works), Alburtis, PA
Hans catching the last bit of fall colors. I've been on a Nikon MF lens kick lately so I pulled out my macro this time. (What a great time to be a photographer by being able to adapt difference lenses to different bodies)
Two hyenas stole the kill from this female leopard. She realized that it was better for her to concede to the duo. She waited impatiently until the hyenas had satisfied their appetite and started to walk away a little from the kill. She then moved in swiftly and stole the kill back. She climbed up a tree to finally be able to enjoy her meal.
Daytime fog has been very rare here for several years. Lately it has returned, but I have already gotten tired of the hazy look. Would much rather have frost or snow, which we normally do in November.
