Of course, my A1 took its place.
Still have my A7R and A9 as well.
Still shoot with them from time to time.

Thanks so much for your comments. I have been re-organizing and re-processing some of photos lately. This image was taken around this time of the year three years ago in Grand Teton National Park. We took a trip with our daughter before she headed for graduate school. I have also handed the A7/r2 to my daughter since then. For some reasons, I like the colors produced by A7/r2 the best. I still use the original A7/r along with my A7/r3.
My 5 yers old daughter trips schedule was quite busy this year.
After returning from Paris few days ago Mama and Papa have done bets what would be chield's answer: "What does you renember the most from all you have seen this year?".
The Alps!!!!
This is the crusial difference between her 5 and 18 years - at 18 is will surely be Paris!))))
P.S. A7R2 seems the best landscape body for me as well. SmoothReflections and 500K actuations of mechanical shutter plus perfectly sized sencor.

My wife and I just got back today from another several days in the Hoh River Valley in Olympic Nat'l Park. I hoped to capture colors changing in the leaves but found I was still a week or two too early. Still, I did get some color in some of my wanderings around the river.
I took two bodies (a7R2 and a7R4) with three prime lenses (CV 15E, Loxia 25, CV 40E), all of which worked wonderfully for what I was trying to capture. A very lightweight kit for handheld jaunts.
Here are a couple of the first shots with CV 15, the first in early morning east of our campground, the second in late afternoon west of our campground.

Thank you very much, Steve! I like Mill Creel Falls at Kumbrabow a lot, I was the only one there enjoying the tranquility. The foliage colors in the area where I drove around were just painterly.

Thank you very much, Jim! Sossusvlei is indeed such an amazing place to visit and photograph. Located in the southern part of the Namib Desert, the prevailing climate is arid. But on the last day we were there, it rained on and off. The weather changed quite rapidly. The sun did shine through occasionally and some areas of the dunes were sun lit while some remain in the shade, rendering the landscape in a dramatic way. The cloud formation in the afternoon that day and the low setting sun created such a spectacular light play in the sky.
Excellent and enjoyable captures from the Olympic NP, Jim! It looks like it was a rewarding trip photographically.

Although photographically nothing spectacular but it shows our lodge and heavy rain clouds in the background taken from the reception/restaurant before we left for the afternoon shoot that day. We stayed 3 nights at this location.

It's been a long time since I attempted to capture macro images. I forgot how much fun and how challenging it really is to capture a decent shot There is a large bush in my backyard with purple flowers and the insects love it... no complaints here
This and that from when we were visiting family in Sweden. Reindeer are relatively shy, but these were resting in the shadow by an abandoned house because of overheating.
A7RII and CV 50mm/1 VM.
