Really nice shots, Alan! I saw some crazy footage of the F-35 flying there at sunset right after a storm, really once in a decade condition, the speed and and humidity combination created perfect condition for some crazy vapor, all that in gorgeous sunset lighting. This guy's video captured it well:

Thanks guys! We honestly had no idea what to expect from the event, so we were happy with the results.
We arrived slightly late due to issues with public transportation and had to leave before the F35's showed up.
We did get to see, and mostly HEAR the F35's as we were walking back to the train station in the afternoon. The train to and from home only went once every two hours
All in all it was a wonderful event with a lot of excitement for a decent entry fee (28 euros a person).

Looking at a "carpet" of Muscari "Bluebells" in a field of Muscari "Bluebells". You can see at least one the paths separating the different patches of plants and flowers to try to keep viewers from stepping on them.
