I just listened to a podcast on YouTube by the two pilots in the US who fly the Zero at airshows, very interesting. According to them, there are five flyable Zeros in the world today and only two of the five are actively flying.
Douglas, you are a master of capturing these war planes in flight, whether jets or prop planes. I'm in awe. Keep 'em coming.
Obviously, it is not Autumn yet! But I had forgotten to erase my images from my a7R2's SD card before taking the body out as second camera today for shots of Westport, WA and the big Chevy Corvette show (which I will process soon). Since I've just recently gotten the new MacBook Pro and not processed any colorful nature shots yet, I thought it would be interesting to revisit some of these and process them along the lines I currently use, being curious how them come out and if anyone has any remarks. This first shot is a 2-shot composite with my regular PP.
I'm so pleased with how much faster this new Mac Pro is compared to my (seven year old?) HP Envy, which I thought was pretty good in the day. Pretty soon it will be time to get some new Fall shots!

Thank you very much Joe! Glad you like them. I enjoy airshows. There is going to be a nice show at Oceana Naval Base near Virginia Beach on Sept 17/18, if you want to take a trip.

Looking at pexels flowers from our front garden.
Tripod mounted A1 and Voigtlander 110mm f2.5 Macro Apo-Lanthar lens, FE mount; silent shutter. 2 Macro Focusing rails were used to position the camera and lens on the tripod head and tripod. The lower focusing rail for the X-axis (left and right postioning) was the Leofoto MP-180S and the upper focusing rail for the Y-axis (front and back positioning) was the Swebo LS001.
ISO 800, f8, 1/60 Second (in a little wind).
Exposure Corrected -0.09 Stops.

First stop at the Westport, WA Seafood Festival and Corvette Car Show: Supper at the seafood dinner. Shown here the fresh local oysters being BBQ'ed. BBQ fresh salmon was also excellent along with macaroni salad. Great start to the day at noon! )

In the fields of Stutensee, near the Old ravine, during spring.
This spring I was shooting mostly significantly after sunset. I struggle a lot to create realistic images, combining a nice contrast with a realistic grounds and still get something similar to how see in the twilight. Particularly the grounds are challenging: Too clear, is frantic, too dark, not interesting... Any suggestions on how to improve very welcome
