For my taste (all people are different), anything notably wider (12mm) is too (unnaturally) wide (not to mention mess with the filters), while anything significantly longer (20mm) lacks craziness of 16mm.
I was trying to live with Laowa 12mm Zero-D for one winter before returning it to Laowa (the lens was given to me for free) and spending ~2k for 1635GM.
No offence for 1224GM or 20G shooters, both lenses are top notch just not my cup of tea.)
I'm still hoping for a 16mm GM prime someday. You have a great eye for that focal length!
Looking at pexels flowers from our front garden.
Tripod mounted A1 and Voigtlander 110mm f2.5 Macro Apo-Lanthar, FE mount; silent shutter. 2 Macro Focusing rails were used to position the camera and lens on the tripod head and tripod. The lower focusing rail for the X-axis (left and right postioning) was the Leofoto MP-180S and the upper focusing rail for the Y-axis (front and back positioning) was the Swebo LS001.
ISO 800, f8, 1/80 Second (in a little wind).
Exposure Corrected -0.09 Stops.

Finally a new image to share with you all. I can't tell you how great it felt to be back out in nature after 3 months.
This water abstract scene captured my imagination on an alpine lake from my recent trip. I enjoyed how the morning light was reflecting on the edges of the ripples.
Wow, Barry, that’s one heck of an image! I looked at the image up and down several times… It looks like a person in body painting alright; and the nose and earrings look huge. At any rate, that’s an exquisite image!
