Some shots from my yard today. These little guys are busy fattening themselves up for the long trip back south in about a month. I will miss them dearly
Thanks to the wonderful images taken by @Schwarzlicht using the Batis 40/2, I fell into the rabbithole and grab one myself when a used one popped up in the lens market.

After a heavy rainfall late this afternoon, I headed out to the desert under storm clouds to see what images might come to light. Using the Sigma 24-70/2.8, I found a beautiful cactus and decided to make a short study of it. I shot it from different angles using different focal lengths and apertures. It’s fun taking time to look at one thing in nature and see what looks it gives you.
