My new location is farther away than this! LOVE the telescope HAHAHAHA
Taken from the top of Sani observation tower in the Amazon basin of Ecuador. The tower was built to take advantage of a huge tree tree there. The incorporation of the tree in the tower structure makes is quite stable while it is towering close to 200 feet or a little over 60m over the ground. The morning was mostly foggy. So, I normally captured sceneries in the first hour of arriving on the top in the morning until the fog lifted before doing bird photography.
In this image, some metal beams were visible; it could have been cloned out but I decided not to and made them quite visible instead.
