Very very nice image. Unfortunately when we visited Florence in March, I didn't have the freedom to be out and about to take photos in such beautiful light or to look for such picturesque locations.

TThank you, Rich! That was my second time around on that spot in Florence. They first time around in 2014, we walked up there from the city center. But the second time around, we just hopped in a cab and we were there in no time.

That's the Piazzale Michelangelo, right? I have that marked for our honeymoon next year

Yup, that’s the one! It is absolutely worth it going up there late in the afternoon and stay until dark. You can get a great view of the Ponte Vecchio as well from there, which is to the left from that image of the Duomo I posted above. A 70-200mm zoom lens would be just great for a lot of shots. The only zoom lens I had the last time was my 24-105mm, which was a tad short even on its long end.
