Thank you very much! I find myself shooting at 840mm more and more, 600mm was the longest I ever used for airshows until last year when I tried the 600mm GM+1.4TC. I love the closeups from that focal length.

Thank you Birdie! I haven't had much luck with hummingbird this year so far, I see them zapping around, hopefully they will feed on the flowers more and pose for me.. Keep your hummer shots and macro shots coming!
A few more shots from last Friday, in the first picture you can see their in-house photographer in the back seat. I wonder what camera/lens he was using. I want his job!. This jet flies behind the formation during the rehearsal only, not in the real show. I will post more from the next show.
A familiar location location (Royal William Yard, Plymouth) to try out my re-purchased (used) CV 21mm Color-Skopar. I'd had unsatisfactory results on a previous trip and found that this seems to be due to different hard infinity stop behaviour to my previous copy - this one definitely benefits from going to the hard stop rather than holding back slightly...
