Nice one David - on both counts. For me and what I do the Riv can almost be 2 cameras in 1 if one doesnt mind the odd crop mode at 26Mpx, which I dont. Hope you enjoy it.

At Lock Ridge Park (the site of an old Iron Furnace works), Alburtis, PA.
This male scale-breasted woodpecker was pecking on that trunk. While still fine as in the first image but when a large bird flew overhead, it instinctively looked up or more sideways, to make sure that it didn’t pose any danger to him and therefore exposing the head better for me. Taken on the top of an observation tower some 200 feet above ground in the Amazon Basin of Ecuador. FYI, the male is characterized by his red cheeks

Yes - I've gone for R cameras to get the biggest possible canvas (alright, technically the most densely populated canvas) for more leeway around cropping and aspect ratio so I really appreciate the additional framing options provided in the RIV (now worthy of an assigned custom button for me)
Looking at the Palumbo Shipyard in Messina from the Ferry between Messina on Sicily and the Mainland of Italy. The Trenitalia train that we rode from Taormina to Messina was loaded onto the Ferry. The Ferry ride across the Strait of Messina and mainland Italy is 3.2 miles. From there after the train was off loaded, we rode the train to Napoli (Naples).
