The final image to be seen from my A7Riii - now MIA along with my 35mm ZA 2.8. They were both left in a bag on the back seat of a cab never to be seen again along with a card of shots from a trip to London (ironically after returning to Plymouth). I've now ordered a low shutter count used A7RIV and lightly used Sigma 35i as replacement so hopefully will get going again next week.
It's a bit of a 'noodly' one across Plymouth Sound that would probably have stayed in the Lightroom catalogue but thought I'd mark the occasion...

My wife and I spent a couple of nights on the north shore of Lake Superior. Reason? Celebrating my retirement after 38 years of work. I spent one afternoon and the following morning at Splitrock Lighthouse. Here's a series showing the different moods of this location.
Very cool set of images Bob. I really, really like the last one! Congrats on your retirement! I retired in 2015 after 35 years from a job I loved and am loving retirement even more!
Apologies in advance -- posting again in a brazen attempt to push the ball over the goal line for 50k "likes" here on FM. I know, I'm a weak person.
I lived with my maternal uncle (Mom's brother) and his family for two (troubled) years in 9th through 10th grades in Hoquiam, bouncing between two different Junior Highs and then two different High Schools (Hoquiam and Aberdeen, WA). Despite my uncooperative and unruly nature, these caring people steered me through with compassion and tolerance -- two characteristics I embraced as much as I could at the time.
Their family still owns "The Rutledge Home" and rents it out to an older couple. My uncle has passed, but my aunt and cousins remain. Thanks to them I am able to be here contributing with a wonderful group of people. Thank you.
