Several evenings appear free of any cloud, with a cold and dry weather that make a pleasure walking around. At the end of one stroll, this tree appeared silhouetted by nice colors!

I have seen images and documentary films/videos but for the very first time I saw leaf-cutting ants at work in real life. The lighting conditions at the bottom of the jungle were really bad though... Oh, well

Only had the 24-70/2.8 with me all weekend. Would have taken something else too maybe if it wasn't all so difficult with certain airlines.
Hallstatt is such a charming place, especially in the winter. I wish I could be there to spend a week in Christmas time. I was there in the summer some years ago.

Looking at a Great Egret family with both Parents in breeding plumage and a fuzzy nestling and a second barely visible in the foliage and you can see its eye in the nest in a Breeding Colony.
