I was looking for a target to try out my newly GM 70-200mm lens in combo with the 2X TC. I noticed that there was a couple of mockingbirds in the backyard. So, I setup my gear and I was able to take only 2 images before they disappeared. Here is one after one jumped off the fence to the ground.
Posted an earlier monochrome edit of this one a couple of days ago. With these streetlight shots I seem to rush to monochrome and then start to prefer the colour edit later.
Bridges covering the miles of protected sand dunes along Jacksonville Beach, Florida.
Almost 60% of Florida's coastal shoreline and beaches are so eroded they have to be reconstituted on a regular basis, and life-harboring dunes have to rebuilt whenever heavy storms wash away both natural- and man-made features. Walkway bridges linking sand and parades aren't just for convenience, they're also to keep people from eroding them further, and to protect what fauna and flora remain.
