That's an awesome shot of the eagle in morning fog at Conowingo. Love the atmosphere. I need to go back in a cold/calm morning to get a shot like that. A few more shots from yesterday.

Thank you very much, Doug! That was from the 2nd morning, which was foggier and the sunrise was more intense than the 3rd morning when we walked down there together.
It looks like you got great shots from your last Conowingo visit. The eagles are more active and they do it closer to you, it seems. So, that place is still crowded, huh? Or it is even more crowded when I was there?

To a certain degree, yes, I do. It depends on what you want to do with it. If you just want to take a single lens on a family trip and/or to compliment you long lens lineup on a birding trip. The later was my case of my trip to Conowingo, where that lens worked out just fine. The image quality it generates is more than decent but yet, I would think twice about that lens on a dedicated landscape trip. Frankly, it is only my gut feeling and I do not have any proof or documentation that it would not perform as such. The problem that you and I are facing is that we have quite a few lenses to choose from . I hope this helps somewhat.
