I just came back home from this site. This is a middle frame out of a sequence of 10 images, which were captured within a few minutes after I setup my gear. Talking about timing...
Looking at a Great Egret nestling in the nest in a Breeding Colony.
Heavily Cropped; tripod mounted 100-400mm GM set to 400 mm and A7rIII; silent shutter.
ISO 100, f5.6, 1/500 second.
Exposure Corrected +0.18 Stops.

Not sure if this will work. Since I dropped and deleted Smugmug in favour of my own website I've not posted/linked any of my work.
Anyway I've a new gallery up there on my site from my two weeks in Tibetan Sichuan last month. It was supposed to be 4-5 weeks but a small covid outbreak in the regional capital of Chengdu meant I had to have a PCR test every 48 hours and that was messing up my schedule something terrible So I'll go back for another 3 weeks to finish up in Spring, when it'll be flowers and snow instead of Autumn colours and snow !

Fantastic gallery, love the 'taken from the bus' shots ;-)
