Very nice just the same. And you have the added beauty of Mountains. Here in the east, our mountains are a bit more worn down due to to hundreds of millions of years of erosion. Also we have been behind and slow for our color change this year. But, now we have finally had several nights of some temperature falling to below freezing and we are seeing the color change progress more rapidly and more intensely. We will have to see the final outcome in the next number of weeks. Just hope we don't have rainy windy conditions and the leaves stay on the trees for a bit of time. Hope to get out again later today like yesterday.

Thank you, Rich! I had followed a website for the progress of fall colors in that area and timed my visit there that way. Little that we know a day or two before we left, the temperature dropped into the 20’s and froze the leaves at a certain elevation. Instead of gradual yellowing, a lot of leaves rot and turned dark brown, almost black. Oh, well. The drop in temperature was sever enough to freeze the cascading waterfall there, something that I have never seen. Enjoy the fall colors!

It sure was a beautiful morning - before the sun came up, the fog was low, next the sun came up and lit up those trees (they are the same as in 1st pic only zoomed in) and then the fog has risen so you couldn`t even see the castle anymore.
