NEW A7s -- my first shot. I thought I would make it interesting. I opened the menu and set the camera to silent shutter because I had read that it was an option. I stepped into the back of a conference room where there was a lunch-time meeting of computer programmers. A perfect worse case scenario: subdued lighting, maximum depth of field at F/16 a need to be quiet and the single most problematic lens for my A7r, the CV 15 - color cast, smearing, vignetting. It has it all.
First surprise. I took the picture and didn't know I did it. There is no sound. None The peaking blinks off for a second when the picture is taken. I don't know what happens on an AF lens. I was on Aperture priority. The exposure was 1/60th and the auto ISO was 4000.
Dale - congratulations on your new camera.Looks like the CV 15 performs well with no color problems, maybe you can post some outdoor pics in the near future and let us know how they go.
Mike that cat shot with your Canon 55 WO is very sharp!
