Prepping mentally for a short trip in 2 weeks to visit the Eastern Sierras for some fall colors… Here is one from 3 years ago that I believe hasn’t been posted….

We have some falls near where I live, but they are nowhere near as majestic as the ones in your shots from just north of Trondheim. I can only imagine how wonderful it must be for families to be able to bring their children and grandchildren to such a spot.
Thank you for your kind words! Nice to hear that I was missed. We were away for two weeks visiting family and our cabin in Sweden (finally!).

Had a short period of enforced photographic/processing abstinence due to a little right hand surgery - back in use now.
Went to Hailes Abbey in the Cotswolds (Founded 1246) a few weeks ago on a drizzly Sunday - lovely spot but soon got fed up of rain spots (see one pic) on front element of my relatively new 14mm GM.
Luckily just outside the Abbey grounds is a lovely little Norman church which predates the Abbey by at least a century and inside still has the remains of some wall paintings dating to the early 1300's. For me it stole the show.

Looking at a Limpkin with what looks like a clam in its beak and reflection.
Cropped, tripod mounted 200-600mm G zoom set to 600mm and A7rIII; silent shutter.
ISO 100, f6.3, 1/320 second.
Exposure corrected +0.20 Stops.
