High altitude feels like another planet, here are three from Tso Moriri, a 4500m high freshwater lake, India's highest. It's troublesome even for those acclimatised to Leh at 3500m, 1000m is a big jump up and AMS hits hard at night. #1 a shepherdess and her flock of goats and sheep, with a herd of Kiang (wild ass) in the background at water's edge. It's all pristine, helped along by the covid-induced lack of tourists. So full credit to the Indians for caring.
