Recently, modern incarnations of the Meyer Optik Gorlitz lenses with Sony E mount appeared, and I am again considering whether to buy some of them. Trioplan 100/2.8 II and Trioplan 50/2.8 II seem the most attractive, because among my very old lenses there are no triplets. I also think about the Lydith 30/3.5, Primoplan 58/1.9 and Primoplan 75/1.9.
But is it worth spending so much to have the pleasure of taking pictures with bubbles, swirls and glowing subjects against a "nervous" background,that I like very much, only once in a few years? And by brand new lenses having just dumb FE bayonets insted of original,usually tattered vintage copies with adapters? These are the questions to be answered by myself. :-)
BTW : I'm curious whether any of you use new emulations of Meyer Optik Gorlitz lenses and about your opinions on them.

Looking at a Great Egret in breeding plumage standing on a log with an Alligator to the right and behind. Wading birds have to be careful, if they fall in and are seen by alligators, they will be eaten.

Thank you Joshua! It was 4 looks and changing locations each time. All in close proximity but with outfit changes and a designer involved 3 hours seems to vanish pretty quickly.
