Two shots from my kitchen this evening, the eye AF of the A1 picked out the birds' eyes very well. It really helps when the depth of field at 600mm f4 is so thin. It can even pick out the tiny hummingbirds' eyes.
Contax 35-70/3.4. Chomolangma, or Sagarmatha, the west knows it as Mt Everest (8849m). 320/737 class aircraft need a lot of elevation to clear the range at this point. They often get within 300 metres of the summit depending on routes and traffic. But not in this cloud cover.

This years unusually cold and dry April in SW UK has affected the Ransoms (Wild Garlic) - it is normally much more prolific in early May - it might catch up, or just be a bit of a stunted year. I will try it in another weeks time.
