Thank you very much, Jacques! The problem with these birds is, they stay perched just for a second or two, especially at an unobstructed spot like here and they flew or jumped into behind branches. I had 2 camera setups; one on a tripod aimed at the area according to the guide would likely to land and the other one handheld for unpredictable spots for better mobility, like this one here. And there were tons of mosquitoes in that forest... .

The WATE isn’t the sharpest lens any longer but still delivers pleasing images to my eye.
Though I shot these images some time ago, I still have my WATE.
It's not going anywhere.
Your last two images are stunning with amazing light and clarity, terrific colors.

Brought out my Sony 85mm 1.8 for hiking and I fell in love with it again. I primarily only used it for portraits but it takes fantastic delicate landscape photos
