After adding the Batis 18, and love it, I now find that along with my Loxia and ZE lenses, I am a confirmed Zeiss lover. I will have to try another Batis (or two!). I suppose there are worse addictions, right?

Agree 100% Jim, love my old ones too. Had the B40 a couple of years back and liked it very much - if a little bulky. I now have the B25 which I also like and its a little more compact - moreover since getting the RIV and sometimes popping into crop mode it knocks on the door of the 40 (with aperture and DOF caveats) with a little more resolution than my 7C, pretty handy.!
