Thank you! A couple more from yesterday. The Hoodies are funny looking little ducks! I am seeing more and more bird pictures in this thread which had been mostly dominated by wonderful travel/landscape images. I guess with all the travel restrictions, it's easier to photograph birds to kill the boredom .

Some less photogenic ducks from this morning
Thank you very much, Douglas! There are at least 4 males and 1 female at this particular location. The unique aspect at the current location, they are not that skittish. A few years ago I counted 11 males and plenty females at a different location but they were tougher to photograph and you needed a very long lens. Again, mostly during winter months they seem to be present in larger numbers.
I enjoy your hooded merganser images very much, Douglas! They are also very photogenic although less colorful. You captured the interaction between the male and females well. Mating season is coming up or it is here already.

Here is another image of 2 male Mandarin ducks using a GM 135mm lens at wide open. I couldn't even dream of being able to do it somewhere else.
