That's very impressive Ronny, given that the dipper is not renowned for being a particularly slow moving or sedentary bird! But then we have come to expect nothing less from you.

At Big Meadows, Shenandoah National Park, Virginia.
I was well aware of this Victorian cemetery but hadn't really explored it until recently when the fact that it's within walking distance of home became a factor...
Temperatures bottomed out at -20F this morning so I waited a bit and it warmed up to -15F for this shot. I had heated boots but not heated gloves. I had on two pair of gloves, a thin glove over a heavy duty mitten. Once I took off the mitten to get a few shots, my shutter hand never warmed up.

A cross-post from Nokton 40mm f/1.2 thread. Just a few picks from a trip to friends cabin with my friends recently. Didn't have any other lenses with my that time (it's my "desert island" lens). Yes I did go to water, 5 times. From sauna of course.
Tried to get some shots of falling snowflakes this morning, they were coming down heavily but they didn't show in the pictures, maybe the shutter speed was too slow??
Some more shots from my make-shift home studio, this time trying rim lighting on dark background. Backlit with a fairly large softbox (relative to the subject), with a black card placed between the light and the subject. The softbox was cropped out and replaced with black in post. The Boss logo was lit with a flash with a snoot.
But then we have come to expect nothing less from you.
