This time with moonrise. Unfortunately the Moon was barely visible at moonrise due to haze above ground and it was not bright enough relative to sky. Next day would be better for brightness, but worse for composition. A day before would be better for snow, but not it was cloudy and brightness would be even worse. Getting the right moonrise or moonset shot with nice landscape is hard.

Wonderful images, jtra! Too bad the moon wasn’t more visible in the first image. I was there some 11 years ago. I went inside the castle back then but I didn’t go to your point of view there. I was at a nearby town, Kutna Hora, I believe, where the church uses human bones as decoration. Although I switched to Sony very early on, but that was a few years before my Sony days started .
