It is a lovely image but is that purple fringing in the foreground? It is quite pronounced, I would say. It is more an aspect of the lens performance at wide open aperture but it can be reduced during post processing.

Thank you! And yes, there is quite a bit - I need to brush up on how to remove it in Capture One since like you said, this lens at this aperture has its fair share.
Another image from the series of "sleepless in Page" . At about 3:00AM the clouds dissipated enough and I went ahead with my plan of doing some star trails. Here is my test image to make sure that the frame was suitable and that the stars were in focus. Since my intention was to capture much of the sky, I placed the horizon on the low side in this image. I knew I posted the star trail image before since that was the only one I ended up being able to make that morning. So, I won't post that image again but here is the test image prior to doing some long and 100 or so exposures. FYI, the lens was a Sigma 20mm f/1.4 and stopped down some.

Tripod mounted A7r and Minolta CLE MC 40mm f2 M-Rokkor lens.
ISO 100, f8?, 1/250 second.
Exposure corrected -0.20 Stops.
