From November 2019 - although selected for editing but I just did it today. Taken with the best 35mm lens up to date but we don’t know how it will stack up against the new and upcoming GM 35mm.
Of note; This shot was taken at Estevan Lighthouse on the West Coast of Vancouver Island, which is notable for being the only place on Canadian soil to be fired upon by the Axis in WWII. Two days later, a Japanese submarine also fired on Fort Stevens in Oregon, the only time the contiguous US was fired upon.

I recently bought back a Zeiss Batis 135 (for the 3rd time) as a light tele, took it out for a spin on Sunday at the Arlington National Cemetery, it does have a special rendering, to my eyes at least, maybe I am just seeing things.
