Thank you. These were shot in the Gettysburg Battlefield in Pennsylvania. It's only 70 miles away from where I live but this was only my third trip to Gettysburg. Will definitely head back there again when the next snow storm hits.

This is a really impressive image!
Here is another image of a different hummingbird captured at a wildlife sanctuary early in the morning. I was there to capture something else that didn’t really materialize. So this is a consolation prize so to speak.

Interior is a stitch - handheld and a bit of a learning curve!

Here are a few A/B shots between the CV 15E and Loxia 25. I find it interesting and sometimes illuminating to compare subjects this way.
No attempt at exact color or exposure matching, which are hard to achieve between these two, with their inherent color and vignetting signatures. Hand held, so don't worry -- the tripod is not malfunctioning, only the operator! Also, may have slight differences in cropping and perspective correction.

Interesting seeing your different perspective take with the 15mm Voigtlander lens next to your 25mm Loxia images...IMHO both lenses deserve a home in your camera bag as you are getting the most out of both of them.

Just fooling around inside on a cold windy Christmas eve afternoon - not occupied this year with entertaining family or visitors, so you gotta do something. Thought I'd try my hand at setting up a still life. My first attempt here.
(A7riii + CV65/2 apo-lanthar, basically a perfect combination)
Beautiful shot with great color rendition.
I'm considering this lens for natural landscape panoramas. Have you tried this lens for landscapes?

This lens is basically perfect. People might want autofocus or a smaller lens for convenience, but if you just care what the lens gives you and you "see" at 65mm (which I often do), then you can't do better. I've certainly used it for landscapes (I posted some of the Portland Japanese Garden over on the thread dedicated to this lens some time ago), and it's magnificent.
Hey all. Long time. I've been lurking on this thread, but haven't posted in quite awhile! Busy. Uninspired. Lazy...
So... I "thought" I was ordering a 7Artisans 35/0.95 lens for my Fuji X camera, but I didn't read the description well enough and received the E mount version (APS-C). Arghhh. But I figured, what the heck, so I flipped the A7ii into APS-C mode and mounted the 35/0.95.
Happy accident! The 35/0.95 is pretty fun! Equivalent of a 50mm f/1.4 in APS-C, but with the light gathering of an 0.95. I'm liking the rendering. Sharp at f/0.95, and smoooooth bokeh. Definitely worth $250.
