Real-time tracking on the A7RIV comes in quite handy but does lose the hummingbird after one or two "approaches" of the flower. Given how good RIV is already imo, the A9's RTT must be amazing.

Staying in the bird theme but switching to white-tailed kite that was about to land here... I posted two additional images in the Nature and Wildlife forum here: https://www.fredmiranda.com/forum/topic/1672517.
Some shots of a cormorant trying to swallow his catch, it took a good 6 or 7 minutes for the bird to get the fish sort of down his throat, from a distance I saw the fish tail sticking out from the bird's mouth for a long time, not sure how long it took to get the whole fish down. These were shot with the A7RIV+200-600+1.4 TC, and big crop.
I feel sorry for the fish in the third picture, it's definitely an "oh sh$t!" moment.
Looking at Farmers Fields with the foreground in shade and rear of the image in Magic Hour warm light. Fields in the front have been harvested and cut and White Tail Deer can be seen in places in the full size image.
Tripod mounted A7r and Leica R 28mm f2.8 Elmarit V2 lens.
ISO 100, f11?, 1/40 second.
