Thank you very much, Jim! That’s basically all I have been doing in the last 6-7 months or so. They are not known to be Covid-19 spreaders and as such, I don’t have to wear a mask photographing them . In addition, they definitely know well to keep a distance from me but I have to keep a distance from other photographers or wear a face covering.
You have taken your photography of interesting houses/structures in your new hometown to a higher level. Keep up the good work, Jim!
I hiked to this pretty alpine lake recently. It was cold and windy but did manage to get this blue hour shot just before sunrise. I was the first one at the trailhead and first to arrive to the lake which was at 10,900 ft elevation.
Looking at an Immature Tricolored Heron.
Cropped, supported hand held out car window 200-600mm G set to 541mm and A7rIII; silent shutter.
ISO 200, f8.0, 1/320 second.
Exposure corrected -1.18 Stops.
