I have photographed adult peregrine falcons taken off from their perch a few times. But this time around for whatever reasons, this falcon took off in a big hurry. I was able to capture only 4 images and that only at the beginning of the flight. The acceleration this guy showed was incredible. Here is the first image of the sequence and a cross post from a different thread.

I don't break out my Helios 44M 58/2 lens very often; the swirly bokeh effect can be disorienting and too much. But I love its colors and sometimes that impressionistic-painting effect is just what I wanted, especially in autumn. Stopped down a bit it becomes quite sharp.
A couple of weeks ago we could finally visit my parents in northern Sweden for the first time since Christmas. (The border has been closed to their area because of Covid-19 and is closed again now.) Some landscapes that I took with A7 and 7Artisans 75mm/1.25 when we drove there and back.
