It's been awhile. Between work and trying to stay away from crowds, I haven't been taking my usual long photowalks lately.
Finally got out to Brooklyn Bridge Park yesterday. I love the dive barges that have been a fixture in the park for the last few years. (They dive under the piers to apply protective sheathing to the wooden pilings so they don't deteriorate.) The vivid colors and textures of "barge life" provide great photo ops.
My trusty A7ii (5 years old and still looks and works like new!) = Samyang/Rokinon 135/2. All at f/2
Some pictures from a trip last week to Mohonk Mountain House in Upstate NY, Hudson Valley and the Catskills Mountain area. The gardens there are always so beautiful. This year they had these yellow and orange zinnias and the Monarch butterflies really loved them.
