I can confirm it for myself personally. And still have some Minolta treasures. Still, I sold the 16-35. It is too big for my way of traveling. But now I miss it. do not know if I should try the Tamron 17-28. it would be much lighter and more compact. Picture quality? Difficult Decision.

Joshua, the falcon and the kite images are wonderful. I really like the kite image above with trees in the foreground and the lovely sky. It actually might be my favorite so far
Even thought I try and find some beauty in all things, flies are not generally subjects . However, things are getting desperate.

Thank you very much, Birdie! The original file showed significantly more tree/leaves and luckily, the files from the A7r IV are suitable for cropping very well.
Not our favorite subject alright but macro images of flies are quite photogenic, just like you showed it impressively there.
