I have recently discovered another XiV'th Century little gothic village church with medieval paintings. The church is surrounded by a defensive wall with a tower above the entrance. The wall was a mean of defence for local inhabitants during the Hussite wars.
I posted a memorable sunrise image from Bosque recently. That image was captured in Jan 2014. Approximately, a year later I was at the same location but the sunrise wasn’t that good and it was significantly colder and the lake froze partly, Instead of the wonderful cloud formation from 2014, we had a huge flock of snow geese that darkened the blue sky...
Tried to go comet hunting before Neowise disappeared, but it's definitely on its way out..tail is super dim now and it's near impossible to see with the naked eye now, even later at night.
Took some other shots as well while out and about.

Another from last night with he Sigma 14-24...same composition as the last shot above, but an 8min exposure to show some small star trails instead of trying to keep the stars sharp:
Images from last weekend's Sunday-Monday overnight backpack on the South side of Mt. Baker (Washington State). Magical place I've been going to for years since my girls were 5 years old. As you can see they are a bit older than that now.
