Although these images are the last set I took but there will more falcon images that I took previously that I will post. Off the top of my head, I took in excess of 20,000 images between the two nests this season...
Great work! It's the same situation up here in the bay area with the Osprey. The chicks are now flying and hunting on their own and they will soon be abandoning the nests for season. Nothing to shoot for the next couple of months, sigh.

Thank you very much and I enjoyed your osprey images. Well, down here there are burrowing owls although the population has dwindled down by quite a bit compared to that of last year or the year before.
Learning new techniques. This is the first time I've ever used a flash. Probably should have cleaned the fingerprints off the glass and paid more attention to flash placement to avoid the reflection, but I wasn't anticipating getting such a dramatic result the first few times around. JPEG edited on iPhone in LR.

Joshua, the amount of detail in those falcon shots is unreal. Your and Bob's excellent shots with the long glass make me want to do some birding again, alas I have no time and both corona cases and the floods are on the rise again.
Beautiful series, Douglas. Those close-ups with the 135 GM are very impressive.
