Adapted the Samyang 85mm f/1.2 XP EF via MC-11, I have to say it's a joy to use and I actually quite like the unique waxy shimmering crystalline bokeh texture in some situations.
CA is somewhere between the 35 1.4 ZA and the 35 1.2 ART. I actually like the balance.
It's huge but cheap...I got mine for $580, but there are a couple left (same lens as Rokinon 85mm 1.2 SP) on BH for 640 or so. Pretty good value imo if you like MF.

Had a lovely weekend here down in the South of the country and spotted these cow twins along a dike during a hike. I'm really loving the Sigma Art colors and rendering. The lens has been an absolute joy to use and captures great moments so much more easily.

After the recent discussions on another thread, I decided to break out my Sony FE 28/2 lens and give it a spin.
I'm still looking for something reasonably priced with AF,low distortion and nice imaging. The Sigma 28/1.4 seems to fit the bill except for weight and size. I'm looking for something a little better than my Zeiss ZE 28/2 with MC-11 adapter. A Loxia 28 would be great, except for expected high debut price.
The faults of this Sony 28 become much more apparent on the 61MP sensor. The exaggerated distortion and other aberrations make this a casual walk-around or family event lens, rather than one to get commercial image quality. Still, it has very good color and extremely light weight for an AF lens.
Images have standard LR profile setting as well as my usual image and exposure corrections.
May I suggest that image size be adjusted to one where the whole frame can bee seen at once before posting. It makes the images so much more enjoyable to view.
I find that between 1,000 to 1100 pixels on the long side for landscape mode, and 900 pixels on portrait mode images works well.
Thanks! Now that you mention it I have a couple. Need to get better at getting close to these critters too though, I scare them before I need tubes usually.
