Joshua, if you had not added the EXIF including the FL, I might have thought the falcon on the last page was taken with the big GM lens as opposed to the 200-600. I guess, that just proves once more that the person behind the camera matters more than the gear .

Thank you very much, Chris! There are currently two falcon nests with chicks that are about 10 miles apart. At this particular location, the distance is generally more manageable. Of course, even at this location, I move around constantly. I found a fixed FL at this location too restrictive here although I use the zoom lens on the long end like here. Its performance is superb in all aspects, at least using the A9 or A9 II.
I consider myself as "greedy" in terms of focal length, meaning I would rather get the most out of the files and minimize cropping in PP but still, I would rather not clip their wings . I zoomed in and out during this sequence, which I could not do with the GM.

Thank you very much, Dave! In the next frame, his face did get kicked but no harm done. He came out from behind and joined the others to fight over that food.
