Thanks Dan !
I was hoping the parents would be there
But unfortunately, they never showed up while I was there
They were probably nearby and guarded
5 kids of Long-eared owl just wonderful and so fun to see them
I have seen some owl in long distance before but this was mine
first meeting up close
The Canon EOS R5 will surely be a very good camera
hope it doesn't take too long before it starts to appear in the market ...
then price is always a question also .. let's hope it doesn't get too expensive and it gets good performance with good iso handling and good AF

From Vlastislav village to Plešivec hill, to Oltářík ruins and back. Visibility was excellent this time.

I would not recommend the lens for flying birds due to AF. For landscapes it works well 97% of the time. Rarely, it fails to focus at 400mm, but usually zooming less briefly helps or turning camera off then on.
