The weather forecast said the temperature yesterday morning would be very cool, with almost no wind, perfect condition for mist over lakes. I went out with my dog for a walk and just snapped a few shots with the A7RIV and 100-400 and enjoyed the peace and quiet at 6:00 in the morning.
The peregrine falcons at this site do fly fairly close, like this image where I needed a focal length of only 200mm. I cropped it a little for better composition but had I used a 600mm lens, I would have cut something off .
I lowered the contrast in that image by quite a bit but it still appears contrasty and as such, over sharpened although I didn't deviate from the normal workflow for the edit. Oh, well.
