Finally some nice spring weather, so we went on a day trip to the Trollheimen ("Home of the Trolls") area south-west of Trondheim.
CV 40/1.2 (#1, 5 and 8) and CV 21/3.5.

Good to see you guys finally have some more amiable weather up there. It must have been a really long winter!
Hopefully it means you can travel around more easily and see more sights.

My last outing in Korea, moving back to USA soon.
I love Busan! Some excellent shots here, particularly the second night shot and the herons in the rice fields for me. I keep seeing the really excellent results from the Sigma 14-24 and the GM 135 and have to remind myself to wait for this whole thing to blow over before making those moves. Well done here.
Voigtlander Nokton Classic 35/1.4 for Sony E had to wait more than 6 months before I took it out for the first time.I bought it by chance and did not expect too much,as most of reviews were not favourable.Yet,to my astonishment, the lens turned out to be a very pleasing photographic tool.
To me it has two personalities. The first, classic, with pronounced, mostly spherical aberrations, softness, vignetting and barrel distortion shows up clearly at lower apertures. All that "flaws" however could as well be used creatively as lense's assets.
From f8 up the lens behaves like a normal, very good 35mm with nice colour rendition and only farthest corners being always slightly soft.
It's funky bokeh in floral close up pictures wide open was an unexpected fun.
In short- another solid, nice, little Voigtlander lens.

Thanks!
I’m glad I went down there for my last weekend trip; it felt like a great closing event for the year here.
Those lenses really don’t disappoint, just so easy because there aren’t really any weaknesses to “work around”.
I have been monitoring and photographing a pair of peregrine falcons before they mated, during their mating process until the eggs hatched 2 weeks ago. This momma of 3 chicks and she was enjoying the morning sun, it seems. The image itself is fine and it shows a little bit more than a simple perch but not much action really. I was looking at the feather pattern on my monitor closely and I saw a mite on her right wing! The first image was already cropped some but the second one was cropped significantly to show the mite. It is in the 3rd row of feathers from above. I never knew that mites do plague falcons... . Had I known I would have used my A7r IV to get the details of the mite .
From yesterday's trip to PA State Game Lands. Had to deal with some sun and wind, but it was great getting back to one of my favorite waterfalls. It had been a number of years since I made the trek.
