Can't decide which I like better. What do you think?

I would say no. 1, although I'm not sure why.

Who knew so much was going on just above my back garden! The other day, I was looking out my back window and noticed a bird perched on the wire that I didn't recognized. I ran for the camera and G 200-600 ( never know with this lens on the A7RIV) Snap snap and of course the bird takes off within seconds. Little did I know the brown bird ( later identified possibly as a Brown Thrasher?) was fleeing. I had no idea what would occur during the next few seconds. Right as the brown bird fled. I figured I just missed another shoot with this lens but suddenly in swoops a Swallow-Tailed Kite! Wow...don't fail me now G 200-600 ! And it's not over yet...All the time I was trying to get a few snaps of the Kite, I was hearing something buzzing/whirling right over my head...I pointed the camera in that direction and looks like someone else was trying to get a few shots of the Swallow-Tailed Kite too!
All of this in a matter of seconds of spotting some brown bird on the electrical wire above my back garden! Good thing I got off the sofa. Oh and about that G 200-600 on the A7rIV... ...Show more →
You must be doing something “wrong” with that 200-600mm lens on the A7r IV, LB ? All those reports about that lens not working properly with that camera...

My husband ran across a couple of bird houses that an older gentleman built me a few years ago. One was a wren house which we just hung on a limb by the patio. This morning a little male wren was all busy building a nest in it and we had a great time watching him at work.

That lens/camera combo is no slouch, for sure, but we all know that it is the person behind the camera that creates those impressive images, Kathy!
Going back to my archives for this one! My first real ILC was the Sony NEX-5T, so my investment in the system has been long and fruitful. Most were taken with Minolta glass, both MF and AF.
Some shots of the new Dublin Link pedestrian bridge in Dublin, Ohio. I have been wanting to take pictures of this bridge since before it was built, as I was part of the engineering team that designed it (I worked on the lighting, as I'm an electrical engineer, though for this project I was part of the engineering QA team rather than actually doing the design).

Joshua, you are just too generous in your compliment, but thank you. I am obviously loving the A9, 200 600 combination, and grabbing it more than my other bodies. I know for a fact that it took a step down, but you know, I knew from the start that I could make no excuses because it's abilities were too well known. As I scroll thru looking at images, I recognize yours even before I see the logo.
