From this morning - a male peregrine falcon. How do I know that it is a male falcon? He has on the top of the female while mating . The female is barely out of the nest now. The eggs either about to hatch or just hatched. He is providing food for the family now. He flew in one time to the nest really fast with a prey that he just killed but he did that completely unannounced at an angle I didn't expect. Of course, I missed the action completely. After a while he flew out and perched here for a few minutes, digesting his breakfast.
The nest is at a cliff under the bluff I was standing on. It is completely hidden. BTW, I posted a few images here previously but the slope in the background now has some yellow flowers....Show more →
Thank you very much, Ronny! Your bird images are lovely and I see that you put in quite a bit of effort doing bird photography now. Good for you! It is really fun, huh?

This is from a past session but I haven't posted this image here. FYI, that's pretty much her natural skin tone; the redness on her back and back side of her arm was more sunburn from her not getting used to the sun in Southern California .
Is really fun to test something new
may not be the best pictures right away, I hope I get better
The hardest thing is finding the motives, I understand that having to use birdhide is almost a must , so I try to get one
Then I have to get a good binoculars also , puh Show me the money
Massive crop on this shot
The eagle flew straight away when I almost walked straight on it when I was trying to photograph the Whinchat

My favorite pose of all the models you've shot Joshua. This one looks supremely natural. Just an incredible warmth in her smile.
