Beautiful bird shots on those last few pages. Kudos to Katie, Ronny and others for making that 1.4x TC 200-600 combo work.
Joshua, nice close-up with the 55 1.8. Goes to show what the lens can do in the right hands, despite all its alleged and real short-comings.
Wonderful macro on the previous page, Robert.
It's quite brutal countryside because the road works its way along a glacier path and it morainal debris fields. This place is called Batal, in the Indian Himalaya.

Took these a month ago in the old Copper mine town Røros, which is on the UNESCO World Heritage list. First mining activities started in 1645.
(We pass this place every time we go visit my partner's parents, so I have taken photos there before.)

A view from my balcony. It’s déjà vu all over again. What else can I do under the present circumstance? Perhaps I can add a comment.
J.-C César came here in the course of the Gallic Wars. He called the place Octodurus and even built a theater which still in regular use.... well not today.
Bonaparte came to Martigny in May 1800 with 46 thousand soldiers, six thousand horses and 50 canons, crossed the Alps and won the Battle of Marengo.
Stay healthy.

Beautiful shots of a historic town, Helena! I am curious what is the tall steeple -- surely not a church, with the copper symbol and two sledge hammers.
